Gestalt Counselling is a specialised psychotherapist located in the northern beaches of Sydney, providing people with the opportunity to talk and explore what might be blocking their growth as an individual or their growth within a relationship. I worked with founder Tammy Anthonisz from start to finish to create a completely customised, beautiful brand experience which included the logo and brand identity design, website and stationery.
The first step in the process was to create a mood-board collating my ideas and vision for the brand’s look and feel based on my client’s brief. This collection was inspired by the seaside location and the ever changing states & soothing colours of nature.
The chosen logo was inspired by connection, unity and evolution. The custom designed ‘g’ incorporates a union of circles into an infinite symbol. Circles have no beginning or end, they represent life and the lifecycle. The tagline is also shaped by a circle ‘hugging’ the word Gestalt. Lower case font has been used for a friendly approachable feel and the type is simple, elegant and inviting.
